Course Overview:
In this project, you’re going to learn how to build a useful home appliance – a battery-powered kitchen scale. It’s based on an Arduino Nano, but most microcontrollers can be used by tweaking the code. A load cell is used for measuring the weight, and a simple 7-segment display is used for showing the result.
The casing is built from 3D-printed parts, and we’ll provide the design files so that you can print them yourself. If you don’t have access to a 3D printer, it’s also possible to build the casing from for example wood if you prefer that.
Purchase links for the components, 3D models, assembly instructions, and codes are all provided.
